Anabella Bergero
Multidisciplinary Creative | Entrepreneur | Educator
By age 24, Anabella Bergero had already won Argentina's top fashion competitions and been named Emerging Designer of the Year by Harper's Bazaar Argentina. So what happens when success like that arrives before you're ready for it?
Anabella traces her path from Argentina to Mexico, Copenhagen, London, New York, and Miami, each city reshaping how she saw her own work. She opens up about walking away from an established fashion brand to pursue new art forms, a decision that led to Constructing Identities, her first U.S. installation exploring quinceañera culture and Latina womanhood, and later Heart of Community, a large-scale installation commissioned by Faena Art and recognized by the City of Miami Beach. That same searching, she shares, eventually led her back to her Catholic faith, and to a deeper sense of home.
Anabella is currently based in Sarasota, FL where she serves as Visiting Faculty at Ringling College of Art and Design, continuing to impact the next generation of creative entrepreneurs.
